   so my iphone 4 is absolutely covered in scratches(front and back) which according to apple isnt supposed to happen. i even have a case and skin for it so ive done everything possible to protect it. so i want to take my phone to the store and have them replace it for a new one which they will do under warranty, but when i took it there they said that since its only cosmetic they cant do anything. what could i say to convince them to do the exchange. is there like a problem i could make up or something? thanks.

   Nothing. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects and software issues. It does not cover physical damage at all.
