The worst was former president Jimmy " Hamas is not a terrorist group" Carter till the man in office now showed that he is ten times worse than Mr. Carter!

President Obama was handed a God-awful mess, the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, and did some pretty good work against unfair, unwarranted, unreasoned opposition from every Republican congress member in both the House and the Senate. Despite this mindless contempt from the GOP, the DOW closed above 11,500, jobs are up, GNP is positive, American forces are coming back from that senseless war in Iraq, unemployment compensation is extended, START has been ratified, that ugly DADT law is history, the rotten, greedy, credit card companies can’t jack up your interest rate on any damn whim and sick little kids can no longer be denied health coverage.
Not a bad two years in my book, especially when you consider the hand he was dealt. So let's let him finish this term and start his second term (after all, President Nixon was reelected) and then see. Ask again in 2014 when the Afghan mess should be cleaned up. But this has been the most effective legislative 2 years since the 60s so I think President Obama has a chance to be the best.

Bush could have done so much more, wasted potential

Nixon- he's was pretty bad but had low inpact on the future.
JFK- Put some good stuff in motion(Moon) and some real bad(Vietnam)
Ike- I was a baby but grew up with freeways...
