   I live in the uk, what cheese brands just from normal supermarkets do no contain rennet? I've looked on the pack but none have ingredient listings :o

   To the person who wrote that there's no meat in cheese well there sorta is. It's rennet and its made from animals, bones, fat, hooves, etc. Anything that they have. So please don't say that she is a weirdo.

   In the UK and I know as I have chef friends there and have worked in there restaurants, many are made with the extract of the stinging nettle plant, a souring agent used for century's before animal rennet was known of, most cheese shops can sell you and laundry list of non rennet cheeses, all of the popular ones from all over the UK, even Tesco, Morrison's ASDA and Ildi have them just check the labels or ask at the counter, be safe and go to a good fromage/cheese shop. Fromage Blanc and Frais has no rennet also.
