Why Aren'T The Noble Gases Found As Compounds?
Their valence shell is complete, so they gain nothing from sharing. However, they can become compounds, and XeF6 is one such example.

But in the case of neon and helium, it is because of a special electron configuration. It is what we call a "noble gas" configuration. They are just very stable. This has to do with their valence shell being completely full (of 8 electrons)
